Sarah Manning is a multimedia artist, graphic designer, and ski coach living in Truckee, California. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in Creative Technology and Design. She then began developing a creative practice inspired by the landscapes of her travels around the Western US. Sarah primarily works with gouache watercolors, acrylics, and digital media. Her current artistic direction captures natural scenery through a psychedelic lens, using highly saturated colors, stylized swirling textures, soft gradients, and sharp geometric shapes. While painting is her primary focus, Sarah explores many disciplines as part of her practice, including sewing and textile work, jewelry making, and experimental electronic arts.
Sarah works full time in the winter as a professional ski coach, as well as a graphic designer and social media content creator for Tahoe Honey Company.
